Listen to What I’m Saying
For a long time,
I’ve been trying to tell you,
That I love you,
More than anything in the world,
Yet nothing came out,
To what I wanted to say.
I froze, still, not able
To move, or think.
Even though you’re standing near,
You seem so far away.
How can I get to you,
If you hide from everyone.
Always in the school library,
Or in the school cafeteria, or
Even in one of your classrooms.
For a long time,
I’ve been trying to find,
Trying to tell you,
That you mean
Everything to me.
But no matter what,
Your no where to be seen.
I’ve tried telling you before,
But no matter what,
You wouldn’t listen to me.
How can I tell you
What I’m trying to say,
If you won’t listen to me?
So, for once, can you
Just please listen
To what I’m trying to tell you.
You have two choices,
One, we talk about
What’s going on between us.
Or two, you can walk away,
And forget everything that
Went on between us.
If you choose the 2nd
Choice, then you’ll
Never see me again.

Ooo I really liked the theme of your poem. My favorite part was the end with the choices!
