The Battle of Good and Evil

It was April 5, 2001, and was a cold, rainy day and students at the Shire School of Witchcraft and Wizardry were very talkative seeing as it was such a rainy day outside. Though, students were also quite scared because of what the daily newspaper was saying about a group of followers escaping from a prison right outside of Little Bree. As for the professors, they were also worrying about what was going to happen to the students if something bad was to happen.
As headmaster, Shifu wasn’t very big or handsome or young, he was rather medium built, not handsome, and was in his 80’s. He had almost a slivery beard and hair and was pretty well dressed. And on a day like this, Shifu was looking in the over crowded Great Hall. Shifu had some fear in him. “I am very worried today. I fear that something’s out there. Though, I do have the greatest fear that something and someone very dangerous is out there and will happen very soon, possibly tonight.” Shifu said, as though it seemed that he was talking to himself, even though he wasn’t.

“Headmaster, how do you know, if I may ask myself?” as Bartok walks up to Shifus right side and somewhat behind him, but keeping a little distance between himself and Shifu. “I mean, all of this evil talk for last 2 to 3 months has beginning to scare a lot of the professors and students are beginning to ask questions. Professors want to know why. . .?”

“I know, I know.” As Shifu turns around to face Bartok. “I do not want any student to get scared. As for the professors, I plan on telling them tonight, I also plan on telling the students as well, they ought to know as well with what’s going on.

As Shifu starts to turn around, and back to where his podium was, Po, who is a professor of the arts, walks up and ask, “Sir, I have been asked by 5 professors on what’s going on and wants explanations. Are you going to tell them yet or not? They need to know.”

"As a matter of fact, I was just about to tell everyone.” As Shifu turns around to his podium, he said, “Now, If you two please take your seats, if you don’t mind.” As Shifu got back to his podium, he got a sense of even more fear than ever. He looked upon all the students, and also saw some fear in all of their faces as well. He wondered why such great evil sorcerers would even think, or dare, come hear on a night like this, and attack with a room full of students and professors. Shifu thought it was barbaric.

“Does anyone know what’s going on?” as Snape, who happened to be one of the students. Snape was large built and girls at the school went crazy over him. “All of the professors are starting to freak and just about every student is as well.” As a student, he as well, was worried. He had lost his parent the year he started at the Shire School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He lost his parents to a group of followers. The leader of the followers was named Baba Lavelle. Lavelle and a very large man. He had very dark skin. He traveled to Little Bree about 5 years ago from Africa. Lavelle was the meanest follower there was.

No one knows why.” Bella said. Bella was another student at the school. She also, had lost her parents to a group of followers, but, only to a man name Tailong. Tailong was a large belt guy from Japan and had rage like no other. Tailong used a curse, called avada kavada. This specific curse, was a killing curse but it also tortured people before they died. “Headmaster Shifu hasn’t said anything. Personally, if you ask me, Shifu should have told us the first day this started.”
The students kept talking about what’s going on. Shifu knew as well as anyone that this should have been discussed the first day that this has been happening. Then, Shifu finally said, “SILENCE! Now, as everyone knows, something has been going on. Now, is the time I think I should tell you. For about 2 to 3 months now, there has been a number of attacks in Little Bree. I want to tell you that. . . .”

As Shifu was just about to tell all the students, there was a loud bang on the door. All the students jumped and started to freak out. Then, headmaster Shifu said, “All the students by the, get away, now, you are not safe there.”

Students started getting up and got away from the door. While doing so, there was another loud crash at the door, then, a third came and made the door burst open. Someone then said, “Avada Kavada.” There was a green light and hit one of the students.

Then, all the professors got up, and started casting spells against the followers that had broken in. After doing so, headmaster Shifu knew two of the followers. Shifu was very disappointed in the both of them, because they both were taught under Shifu. Then, Shifu said, “Tailong and Lavelle, I should have known that you two would come back here once again.”
“Well, you know how we feel about you. You expelled us and after that, we had to get back at you. Like a little revengence thing.”

“Well, you two deserved it after killing 100 students and 5 professors. And besides, you two should have known not to come back again to this school.” After saying that, Lavelle and his group of followers started casting spells as well as all of the professors. This was no ordinary battle or dueling between students and professors, this was a wicked battle. While battling, Godric, another student, who was in his 7th year, said, “EXPELLIARMUS” and hit two of Lavelles followers. Soon, there was about 30 professors and 100 students casting spells against Lavelle and his 200 followers.

After battling each other for 1 and a half hours, Lavelle and his followers decided to leave. They knew if they stayed, there would be very little of them, or none of them at all. This battle had killed 50 students. After this battle, Shifu was very angry with Lavelle and Tailong. Shifu knew exactly what Lavelle and Tailong were after and knew that it had to be stopped and soon.
About 15 minutes after the battle, Shifu said, “ATTENTION. This is what I, and other professors, have been worrying about. Now, every single one of you, is responsible to make sure this never happens again under any circumstance. Now, if all of you head back to our dorms and go to bed.” As saying this, he headed to the middle of the Great Hall. “We will also inform you tomorrow on who has past away.”

Every single student then went up to their dorms as Shifu told them to. Every student was now worried on what will happen now. About 5 minutes after they left the Great Hall, Godric said, “Hey Snape, why do you suppose Lavelle came here tonight?” as he continued to stop and go on the stairs, behind a bunch of students shoving and pushing their ways up the stairs and to their dorms for the night.

“I don’t know why. Probably to get back at Shifu.” as Snape said while following a bunch of students up the stairs. But, it wasn’t to long after the students went to their dorms, that the professors all talked of what happened this night and cleaned up the mess in the Great Hall.
“Shifu, what do you suppose Lavelle and Tailong really wanted?” Bartok said as he was picking up wood from where the door had been. Though, it seemed like a silly question to ask Shifu. Besides, he probably knew what Shifu was going to say.

After picking up some dinnerwear off the floor and putting it all in one pile, Shifu said, “I believe, in my own opinion and mine alone, I think, he wanted revenge. I think he wanted to use the killing curse on me and see me dead.” Then, went to where the windows are, though about it deep and hard, and said, “After tonight, nothing will ever be the same again.”

Listen to What I’m Saying

For a long time,
I’ve been trying to tell you,
That I love you,
More than anything in the world,
Yet nothing came out,
To what I wanted to say.
I froze, still, not able
To move, or think.

Even though you’re standing near,
You seem so far away.
How can I get to you,
If you hide from everyone.
Always in the school library,
Or in the school cafeteria, or
Even in one of your classrooms.

For a long time,
I’ve been trying to find,
Trying to tell you,

You have two choices,
One, we talk about
What’s going on between us.
Or two, you can walk away,
And forget everything that
Went on between us.
If you choose the 2nd
Choice, then you’ll
Never see me again.

Changed

I thought being 18,
Would be a breeze in the garden.
Thing is, it wasn’t.
Being 18 is going to
Be a significant change.

You have to go to college
After high school, but
Of course, you will have to finish
High school first. And in high school,
Your pressured into what college
You want to go to and get an
Application in by a certain date.
While you’re in college,
You have to decide on
What career you want
To go in, like a vet tech,
Or a school teacher.
Also when you’re in
College you have
Homework, a job,
Your family, bills,
And of course your social life.

When you’re done with
College, you have to
Find a job, like a
Nurse or a physical therapist.
We know how hard
It can be to find a job
Right after college.
It does take time to
Find a job after college,
You just have to be patient.
You also have to think
About marriage, kids,
A house, money problems,
Divorce, if any.

After you turn 18,
You have so many
Choices to make.

After turning 18,
You have responsibilities.
If you don’t take
These responsibilities,
You’re gonna fail
Later on in life.
You could be a 45-year-old
Still living in your mother’s basement.
