Tortured Love Poem

Tortured Love Poem

My love for you,
I can't explain it.
You and I have something,
Or I thought we did.
But lately, it changed.
I wanna know what’s going one,
But you won't say anything.
How are we suppose to talk together,
If you don't come talk to me.
My love for you and only you,
Has completely changed.
For two weeks, you were in and out
of the house so many times.
I asked you where you have been,
But all you say that 'it's work related'
But I know its not work related.
One day, I come home,
I called your name,
You didn't answer and I got worried.
I thought something bad may have happened.
So, I searched around the house,
I was searching for you because I was worried.
I searched all over the house,
You're not anywhere to be seen,
But there was one place,
One place I haven't looked yet.
I haven't looked in our bedroom yet.
So, I go in and I see you with another women.
But this just wasn't any women,
This women just happened to be my sister.
And of all people,
You cheated on me with my sister,
My own flesh and blood.
I was thinking 'How could you?'
Two days later, after what happened,
I get a divorce from you.
And after what happened,
I never talked to my sister ever again.
I had to take our kids away from you,
So that they wouldn't get exposed
To any of this, to what you did.
So, this is good bye,
And the final good bye.

Tortured Love Cliche Poem

Tortured Love Cliché Poem

You can only hurt the one you love.
But that's the weird thing about love.
Love is a battlefield,
Like two fish in the sea,
Who are fighting with eachother.
It's not you, it's me,
Because I'm not good enough for you.
Some people think its fate,
Others think its destiny’s interwined.
Our love is like a fire burning in our soul.
A heart broken into a million pieces,
And a face only a mother could love.
A faint heart that never a true love knows,
But all's fair in love and war and
Its better to have loved and lost
Than to have never loved at all.
Oh for the love of God,
You handle it with kid gloves.
But how do I love thee?
Well, I have an answer,
If you love something, you set it free.
It's like love and hate are two horns
But they're on the same goat.
Its like love conquers all,
Or love is a many splendor thing.
Truth is, love is blind.
